This brand holds a special place in our story, because this is the project that sparked it all.
When Ewen bought 220 acres of wild, history-soaked land—with a century-old home still standing—he spent years restoring it, carving paths through brush, and stumbling upon relics of a forgotten past: fragments of the original Caribou Trail, remnants of an abandoned gold mine… whispers of BC’s Gold Rush days. Standing at the edge of those sweeping mountains, it looked like a scene pulled straight from Yellowstone, so we created a brand that fused frontier grit with cinematic Western wilderness.
The visuals lean into earthy sands, saddle browns, faded denim blues, and heritage-aged cream tones, framed with hand-drawn western motifs, working-cowboy illustrations, horseshoes, and rugged typography that feels timeless—almost like it’s been stamped into wood grain.
The target guests are adventure-seekers, heritage lovers, rustic-luxury travelers, and families who crave space, sky, and silence. Brand keywords include untamed, cinematic, rugged, historical, and authentic. It speaks in a confident, grounded voice—warm and hospitable, but with a bit of cowboy swagger. The art direction pairs raw landscape photography with sepia-washed western elements, antique-inspired graphics, and slow-living storytelling that invites guests to step into the wild, breathe deeper, and experience a slice of real BC cowboy history.
